Registration is open for the 2018 SGIA Expo (Las Vegas, October 18–20), show owner and producer the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) announced. Registration for the Expo is free through September 19.
Printing professionals who want to attend the 2018 SGIA Expo at the lowest rates have one week remaining to take advantage of early-bird discounts on passes to the show floor, Expo + Education passes and pre-show workshops. The 2018 SGIA Expo is bringing more than 550 exhibitors and over 25,000 registrants to Las Vegas to explore the latest innovations in printing.
After September 19, prices will increase, but Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) members will avoid certain registration fees and will receive a discounted price on specific pre-show workshops. General admission and Expo + Education Passes remain free for members, and prices for the two pre-show workshops, “Wide-Format 101” and “Essential Small Business Strategies,” will increase from $49 to $65. Registrants can join SGIA during the registration process.
Nonmembers who register by September 19 will also receive a show pass for free, and their Expo + Education pass for the discounted rate of $99. Additionally, those registrants can secure spots in SGIA’s pre-show workshops at the early bird rate of $65. After that date, the price for entry the Expo hall will be $35; the + Education Pass will increase to $115, and tickets to the pre-show workshops will be $80 each.
Select Expo events will be unaffected by the price increase. Tickets to special networking events — the Brands Talking Sustainability Luncheon, FP3 Luncheon, Women in Print Alliance Breakfast and Garment Decorators Luncheon — will remain at $30 for both members and nonmembers. Entry into the Wrap Team Challenge will stay priced at $150 per two-person team. Event tickets are available during registration.
Please note: The Expo + Education Pass does not include Wide-Format 101, Essential Small Business Strategies, the Brands Talking Sustainability Luncheon, FP3 Luncheon, Women in Print Alliance Breakfast, Garment Decorators Luncheon or Wrap Team Challenge.
With over 500 exhibitors and more than 20,000 registrants expected to attend, the SGIA Expo continues to be the most exciting printing trade show in North America, supplying industry leaders with new ideas, applications and technologies to catapult their businesses to new levels.
As printing evolves, and technologies and markets converge, the SGIA Expo facilitates industry development, giving printers and suppliers a comprehensive look at the state of the industry and what is on the horizon for printing.
“The SGIA Expo attracts printers across a broad range of markets, and this is not by accident. Whether you are in packaging, commercial, garment, graphics or industrial, there are many technologies, ideas and insights to be gained from the resources at the most dynamic show in printing,” said Ford Bowers, President & CEO, SGIA.
A robust 72-session conference program will complement the Expo floor, giving attendees insights into how they can maximize the latest machinery, applications, consumables and ideas they see on display.
As of July 17, the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) reports 559 companies have signed on to exhibit at the 2018 SGIA Expo (October 18–20, Las Vegas Convention Center). Filling an exposition hall the size of 10 football fields, exhibitors will inspire attendees as they showcase a wide range of the latest printing offerings and services, from inks and thermal ribbons to digital printers and environmental control equipment.
In addition to its 72 educational sessions and special networking events, the SGIA Expo’s show floor will offer more than 25,000 registrants the opportunity to interact with industry leaders and see what’s on the horizon for machinery, applications, consumables and more to support their business needs and goals.
“The range of suppliers represented, and solutions provided, at the SGIA Expo is truly remarkable and exciting,” said Ford Bowers, President & CEO, SGIA. “It is the widest array of technologies that can be seen in printing today, and the success of these technologies in the market has made the SGIA Expo one of the ‘must attend’ events for printers looking for their next opportunity to expand and grow.”
