Job Title: Print Production Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Print Production Manager to oversee our printing operations. The Print Production Manager will be responsible for managing the production of printed materials from prepress to finished product, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in print production, possess strong leadership and communication skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the production of printed materials from prepress to finished product, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
Oversee the work of digital press operators, prepress technicians, and other printing staff to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time.
Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure that printed materials meet our quality standards.
Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Work collaboratively with other members of the printing team, such as designers and sales staff, to ensure that projects are completed to the client’s satisfaction.
Keep accurate records of production runs, including materials used, time spent, and production volume.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Assist in the training and development of new employees as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in printing technology, business administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in print production, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong technical skills, with a deep understanding of digital printing technology, prepress processes, and quality control procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
